Organic Red Clover Blossoms (Trifolium pratense) are an herbaceous species of flowering plants in the bean family. Red clover blossoms are the attractive dark pink flowers of a widespread perennial often grown as a green manure crop to enrich the soil. They have been naturalized in many regions but originated in Europe, Asia, and Northwest Africa. They were brought to Argentina and Chile over 100 years ago.
Red clover blossoms are edible and have a sweet and spicy taste like watercress. They deliver a pleasant honey-like fragrance. They can be served as garnishes, jellies and herbal teas and can be added to your jam recipes or combined into your salads. Red clover also complements soups, stews, lasagnas, and especially teas.

Suggested Use:
To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 2 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 5-10 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
